Focus during copywriting

Copywriting brings a certain tension. On one hand you would like to write in such a way that attracts and please your readers. On the other hand you also would like to see that search engines do find you (SEO).

I do think that when you focus on writing for your readers, in the end the search engines automatically will find you. The question is: how do I do that....................?

It is also said that search engines, these days, behave like readers. The consequence is that your approach could be more or less similar.

This means that there are a few rules to keep in mind when copywriting.

1) the keyword must be included in the title
2) the keyword must be included the text heading
3) Start with the keyword (if possible)
4) repeat the keyword  (more then once) in the text
5) where possible, use links

Following the above rules means that you're writing a good content for your readers, hence, the search engines also will see it as a good content.

However, I do think that the bottomline is: Focus on your readers and forget the search engines. The search engines the will automatically find you.

CopyWriting

One of those things that (beginning) internet marketers overlook is : CopyWriting.

I personally think that Copywriting is THE Most valuable skill that can help you in setting up/maintaining your business.

Copywriting is basically taking powerful, emotion evoking word pictures and showing the reader that his or her life would be more complete - better, easier, more. In other words, the art of writing words that you get your readers to take the specific action that you want them to take.

If you search on the internet for (free) copywriting guides you will find many. All of them are EBooks and many are good, and preaching all the same.

Now, I am the kind of person that doesn’t want to dig through extensive EBooks so I kept searching for a guide consisting of a few pages. A so called ‘crash course’ ,that I could share with others, so to speak! And guess what…………….I found one. It’s not an EBook but a ‘one-page’ mind-map where all information is mentioned. starting with a blog

After so many years I'm convinced. A blog is a 'necessary' tool in life. Having communnicated with so many through other social media a blog is a certain relieve. Why? Simple.............it gives you more then 140 characters, hence, it's easier to express and explain my thoughts. Since I'm involved in internetmarketing I will concentrate my blogs on this issue. I'll will do regular postings in this blog. And what I mean with regular is at least once a week but preferably more often since there is a lot going on in the internetmarketing world. Since being involved in internetmarketing also means helping others I encourage others to respond to my blogs. Whereas questions are raised I will do my utmost to give a workable answer.
